Responce to 9/11

Exposed to a threat unforeseen to their nature, the United States confronted its biggest fear ever presented. Primarily unknown to the public but rather speculated as various unknown conspiracies, the objects that collided into the two-world trade center buildings wreaked havoc on the streets of New York city. This only lead to the break of desperation and missing spaced needed to be filled which ultimately lead to the outbreak of the situation.
From senseless “sonic booms” to more realistic possibilities such as a terrorist attack, the race to understand the horrific aspect of the situation absorbed the public. Yet by nature, when panic strikes absurd reasoning tends to kick in which concludes in more questions to be answered, and that was one of the problems that struck the day of September 11th.
September 11th marked a day to a new beginning for many. Personally this event was no more than a wide spread media event not never clearly captured me due to my age and lack of awareness of the situations going on. Having seen the video footage and live reactions of everyone gave me a fuller picture of the emptiness that filled everyone that day. The lack of knowledge yet the race to understand the situation rose a environment of hysteria for all.
When looking back at how things were handled, I personally would pin down the media as the flawed source, which created the environment for all. Regardless of the fact that the world should know what the situation is, the media shouldn’t be ranting off with speculations and absurd reasoning, causing disturbance to the public, which was clearly already place.

In situation as such where nothing but oblivion is present, only the right answered should be spoken and speculations left to ones own mind.
